When introducing a new line, never add an outside cock pigeon.

Only add outside hen pigeons and you will never lose the line.

Cocks carry the extra chromosome. By breeding two outside hens in a row,

i.e. mother and daughter, then the line will be broken.

To get rid of mites, lice and flies, use one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to two gallons of water. Let the pigeons bathe in this solution at least once or better yet, twice a week.
